Cermet potentiometers have plastic housing with an IP 5 protection level (dust-proof); they are self-extinguishable according to the UL 94 V-0 standard.

The terminals have undergone an electrolytic Sn bath to facilitate the soldering operation and the potentiometer's resistance to corrosion.

They are recommended in applications requiring stability in the adjustment or when environmental conditions are harsh.

ACP's CE potentiometers can be manufactured in a wide range fo types, according to
- Resistive value
- Tolerance
- Pitch
- Positioning of the wiper (the standard is at 50%).
- Housing and rotor color to help with its identification
