Rather than using the traditional optical fingerprint scanner, iGuard uses the most advanced capacitive fingerprint sensor for fingerprint acquisition in order to achieve the highest finerprint-identification results.

The intelligent iGuard is embedded with an Internet-Ready Security System which uses TCP/IP as the protocol to communicate. The protocol enables all computers in the corporate computer network to setup, maintain and access the information of the device simultaneously using the Internet Browser as all the necessary hardware is built-in to iGuard (including the hardware to connect the system to the corporate network), users only need to plug-in the most popular RJ-45 network cable to the back of iGuard.
